Los Angeles' post-punk revivalists the Moving Units feature film Blake Miller, Johan Bogeli, and Chris Hathwell, formerly of the hard-core band Festival of Dead Deer. The mathematical mathematical group formed in late 2001, shortly later Festival of Dead Deer bust up, and began writing and gigging, with dates at festivals like This Ain't No Picnic earning them wider attending fifty-fifty forward they had whatever releases. The Moving Units sign-language to Festival of Dead Deer's late label Three One G and issued their self-titled debut EP in fall down 2002; later on they aroused to Palm, wHO reissued Moving Units in one-time 2003. In fall down 2004, the band's full-length debut Dangerous Dreams arrived.

Gnarls Barkley faces a '"Crazy" dilemma

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Even a dynamic duette needs its heroes. That point was made clear Sunday at the Hollywood Bowl when Gnarls Barkley turned to Radiohead, covering the British group's "Reckoner" during its encore. That surprise move turned out to be the highlighting of the act's pleasant but less-than-stunning 75-minute jell.





That the psychedelic soul duo opted to cover Radiohead seemed oddly appropriate considering it finds itself in a predicament the British band faced 15 years ago when it was blessed -- or unredeemed -- with a huge hit called "Creep." The song hung around Radiohead like an albatross until it temporarily disowned it and reinvented itself into one of the nearly exciting and daring acts on the planet.
